Boston Book Removal provides FREE, scheduled pick ups of your books, vinyl records and CDs.

Instead of paying for expensive junk removal services, or throwing your media in the trash, Boston Book Removal offers an easy and cost-effective way to recycle your collections.

Typically, 10% of materials received are sold online. The rest are passed along to thrift stores, Friends of the Library organizations, and larger booksellers, ensuring that your books and media will delight and educate future readers. Nothing is thrown away.

Send us an email today to schedule your FREE pick up (click the ‘Schedule a FREE Pick Up’ button on the top right of this page)! After that, box up the materials you would like to have removed, and we will come by and do all the heavy lifting.

**Please note that we do NOT accept encyclopedia sets, law sets or academic journals. We are also unable to take large collections of children’s books or romance novels. Furthermore, we do not accept cassettes, VHS tapes, DVDs/Blu-ray, stereo equipment or electronics.

Boston Book Removal was established in 2018 by Bob Brennan, a graduate of Needham High School and UMass Boston.
