Frequently Asked Questions

Q. So, how does this work?

A. Simply pack up all of the books and vinyl records you would like to be removed into 16” x 12” x 12” cardboard boxes. On the day of the pick up, leave them out on your porch/curb/driveway before 10 a.m., and we will come by and pick them up sometime between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. that day.

Q. Is there a charge or fee for your service?

A. No, our service is FREE. There is no charge for our service.

Q. What will you do with my books after you pick them up?

A. Every book we receive is examined one-by-one. Approximately 10% of the materials we receive are sold on online marketplaces, while the rest are donated to larger booksellers. Nothing is thrown away!

Q. Are you a charity or are you affiliated with any charities?

A. No, we are a for-profit business and are not affiliated with any charities. However, finding new homes for old books is central to our mission, as we believe that books should not be thrown away.

A. Unfortunately, we do not offer packing services at this time.
